Real Women. Real Hives. Real Work.
How Professional Beekeepers Are Using Jeometry™ in the Field
When we set out to design Jeometry Beewear™, there was one clear goal: create a beekeeping suit that truly supports women doing real, demanding work in the field. A thoughtfully designed suit built to fit women’s bodies, move with them, and keep them safe.
Seeing Jeometry™ out in the world, whether that’s on rooftops, in backyards, in bee yards, or in classrooms, it still feels surreal. Our suits are worn by hardworking, skilled women beekeepers who save bees every single day.
Jeometry Beewear™ is designed specifically to fit and empower women. The suits are made in North Carolina, United States, from 100% recycled mesh. Here are just a few of the incredible women putting Jeometry™ to work.
Melissa | Hive Removal, 25 Feet in the Air
Miami, Florida
Melissa is the definition of fearless. She recently tackled a hive removal 25 feet up on the side of a house, fully suited up in Jeometry™ while working with what she affectionately calls her “spicy bees.”
This kind of job demands confidence, visibility, and gear you can trust. From climbing ladders to working at height, Melissa needs a suit that stays secure, doesn’t restrict movement, and allows her to focus fully on the task at hand. Seeing Jeometry™ in action on a job like this is exactly why it was created.
Real work requires real protection and real comfort.
Watch Melissa in her Jeometry™ suit as she works with her spicy bees.
“How wonderful that a beekeeper and women’s clothing designer decided to make a women’s beekeeping suit that makes sense and works so well. I’ve never felt so confident around spicy, sassy bees. Jenna York in South Carolina designed these suits and started to have them manufactured just this year. This suit by @jeometrybeewear is perfect. No bees can get in my veil and I really mean that. I’ve been using it for months now and zero bees have gotten in. The mesh is super breathable as well so on hot days, which is almost every day here in Miami, I am much cooler in this suit.”
Tamila Morgan | Co-Owner, The Beekeeper’s Academy
When respected educators in the beekeeping space choose a suit on their own, that speaks volumes.
Tamila Morgan, co-owner of The Beekeeper’s Academy, recently shared her first impressions of Jeometry™ and her reaction was immediate.
“Finally, a bee suit made for women—by a woman beekeeper.”
From the moment she tried it on, Tamila noted what so many women have struggled to find for years: a suit that actually fits, feels intuitive, and looks good without sacrificing function.
Most importantly, Tamila made it clear this wasn’t a paid promotion. She purchased the suit herself because she was genuinely curious, and called it “a home run.”
Tamila has shared a full first-impressions video walking through the fit, design, and why Jeometry™ stood out the moment she put it on. She’ll also be wearing it in the field and reporting back after real-world use.
Dianne | Hive Inspections Close to Home
Charleston, South Carolina
For Dianne, beekeeping is about careful observation, stewardship, and consistency. During routine hive inspections, comfort and ease of movement matter just as much as protection.
Jeometry™’s lightweight, breathable mesh and smart design features make it easier to stay focused during inspections, especially in warm Southern climates. Whether she’s checking frames or monitoring hive health, Dianne can move confidently without distraction.
Denise | Christmas Morning Unboxing
Sometimes, the impact of a well-designed product shows up in the quiet moments.
Denise received her Jeometry™ suit as a Christmas gift, and couldn’t wait to open it.
“Jenna! I wrapped up my suit for Christmas and couldn’t wait to open it! It’s perfect! Thank you so much for your efforts towards women in beekeeping!”
For many women beekeepers, finding gear that actually fits and feels good to wear has been a challenge for years. Moments like this remind us why thoughtful design matters.
Amanda | Dancing in Jeometry™
Amanda brings joy, energy, and deep knowledge into everything she does, and her experience in Jeometry™ reflects that same ease and confidence.
Whether she’s educating, working hives, or simply moving through her day as a beekeeper, Amanda shows how a properly designed suit can support movement, comfort, and confidence all at once.
Her time in Jeometry™ highlights an important truth: when your gear fits correctly, you work differently. You move freely. You focus better. And you feel more like yourself in the field.
Amanda’s experience reinforces what this suit was designed to do: support women beekeepers doing real work, without distraction or compromise.
Jeometry™ is proud to be worn by professional beekeepers, educators, and women working in the field every day. Explore the suit and see what makes it different at jeometrybeewear.com.
