Beginner tracks for those just starting out
Hands-on apiary training for experienced beekeepers
Classes on honey bee research and advanced beekeeping topics
Access to experts in honey bee health, management, and education
It’s an opportunity to deepen your skills while connecting with a passionate community that cares deeply about bees.
Try On Jeometry™ & Shop in Real Life
Jennifer (Jenna) York, Founder & Designer of Jeometry Beewear™, will be attending Bee College and bringing plenty of women’s beekeeping suits to try on and shop in person.
This is a rare chance to see the suit up close, try on different sizes and fits, ask questions directly to the designer, experience how Jeometry™ moves, fits, and feels in real life
Jeometry™ suits are designed by a woman beekeeper, for women doing real fieldwork, and events like Bee College are where that design truly shines.
Why Events Like This Matter
Beekeeping education doesn’t just happen online. It happens in classrooms, apiaries, and conversations between people who care about the work. Events like UF/IFAS Bee College bring together research and real-world practice, new-bees and seasoned professionals, educators, scientists, and working beekeepers.
And they create space for innovation, including better-fitting, more functional gear designed specifically for women.
