“It's made for more curves and it's lightweight. I can feel every breeze coming in through here.”

“And another key feature is this one zipper design. This one zipper is easy to use.’

“I’m loving my new suit and getting tons of compliments. I wore it at the Snowball Market in Lexington SC where I had a booth for selling my honey. It really helped draw attention to my booth. People wanted pictures with me.

I’ve worn it enough to get it dirty. It washed totally clean, so easily!

Lizanne’s Dancing Bees

“How wonderful that a beekeeper and women’s clothing designer decided to make a women’s beekeeping suit that makes sense and works so well. My god. I’ve never felt so confident around spicy, sassy bees. Jenna York in South Carolina designed these suits and started to have them manufactured just this year. The normal design has three zippers that meet at the throat area with a Velcro flap over them, and I can’t tell you how many determined bees have made it inside my veil over the years. When it happens I have to stop beekeeping to walk far enough away to unzip and let them out, or if they’re determined to sting me, I have smushed and killed bees inside the veil as well. It’s not fun at all.

This suit by @jeometrybeewear is perfect. No bees can get in my veil and I really mean that. I’ve been using it for months now and zero bees have gotten in. The mesh is super breathable as well so on hot days, which is almost every day here in Miami, I am much cooler in this suit. I have been stung through the mesh a few times but 99% of the time they try but can’t sting my skin, and I’m often wearing just a swim suit or shorts and bra under the suit to be more comfortable in the heat. Personally I don’t have a bad sting response so I don’t swell up, but it’s still amazing not to be stung a lot by reactive bees. For those that do swell up and still want to beekeep regularly, this suit brings a whole new level of confidence. I love that. I’m happy to share more details about my experience with the suit now that I’ve used it daily.

“I just tried on the Jeometry Beewear Suit, designed by Jenna, a beekeeper and designer who clearly understands the struggle we’ve all had with bee suits that are bulky, boxy, and obviously not made with women in mind. This one is different.

Right out of the box, it checked all the boxes:

✔️ It fits well—really well.

✔️ It’s intuitive and thoughtfully designed.

✔️ It’s practical without being ugly.

✔️ And yes, it actually looks good.

We all know what I mean when I say it’s been nearly impossible to find a suit that’s both functional and flattering. This one hit a home run.”
